Mimi Brown Studio was started by Mimi Brown in Birmingham, AL importing vintage furniture and accessories from Europe. Growing up in the South surrounded by tradition and hospitality, Brown has an innate love for houses and entertaining in them. Interior design has been a passion since she was 8 years old reading Architectural Digest.
Mimi Brown Studio offers unique and personalized interior design services to suit an individual or family’s lifestyle. Creating warm and inviting spaces to live, entertain, and work in that make people feel comfortable is her personal passion.
Mimi Brown moved to New York City to scratch the fashion itch but quickly went back to her original business of interiors and events. She became one of the most sought after lifestyle studios and expanded to Los Angeles and the Hamptons. She lives in Malibu, CA and travels wherever work leads her.

VENDOR COLLABORATION
Our extensive roster of contractors, architects, furnishings and fixture providers, and other professionals involved in the project, ensure that the design is implemented with precision and according to the plan.
ART PROCUREMENT
Art completes a space. It pumps soul into your home and is often the focal point of a room. One of our favorite things to do is help you curate or add-to a collection. We have relationships across the globe with dealers, galleries, and artist studios. Seamless framing and installation completes the process.
STYLING
Looking to give your space a refresh - or add the final touches to an existing project? We love stepping in at the eleventh hour to add our special “fairy dust” if that is all you need!
Project Management
We manage the budget, vendors, and subcontractors for the project. We develop the timeline and oversee the calendar - ensuring the project stays on schedule by coordinating tasks and anticipating potential delays.
